Construction Details:

The pants, hat, and gloves are wool felt. The jacket is denim with trim and cuffs made from quilting cotton. The head was tricky. It is a chicken wire base with poly batting covering it and then black and yellow spandex to cover that. I made the entirety of this costume with minimal help and advice. Thanks to Denise!



The best part about this costume is that I can't see a thing at night. I have to hold onto everyone else's hands so i don't run into anything. ahahaha!

Personal Thoughts:

I have super fond memories of this costume. doing original designs are always so much fun because you don't have to worry about reception really. I got to make a lot of artistic choices and I was happy with every one of them! Plus, I grew so much while making this costume. I did a lot of things for the first time on this. Here's a little word of advice though: MAKE SURE YOU CAN SEE OUT OF YOUR COSTUMES!!
