Construction Details:

Originally made for Anime Boston '08, it's since gone through several touch ups. Had to repaint the sword hilt right after that con, since the anime showing canon colors came out that Sunday, haha. Made the claws for AnimeNEXT, redid the Cowl for otakon. This costume has also gone through three wigs. (Never did get pictures of the third wig, bought it and never used it. XD) Since I often get asked about the materials I used on this, here's a quick rundown: The Sword is made of plastic sheets, the claws are made of wonderflex, uniform is PVC, tons of white acryllic and a bit of white leather, and the cowl is made of faux fox fur and a bridal satin-silk blend. :)

Personal Thoughts:

Ohhh boy I could write forever about how much of a royal pain in the arse this costume was to make. But regardless, I've had tons of fun in it. (Until I start baking in the heat, that is. Poor ventilation is poor.)
