Construction Details:

so this is tape deck version 1.0. the base is a random blue backpack found at a thrift store. i used some scrap wonderflex to build the frame of the deck and E6000nd it to stay together. the rest was taking craft foam and gluing it to the frame and adding needed details.

Personal Thoughts:

base started weeks in advance. fitting and construction was done pretty much at con XD oh DW, sorry i must involve you in my last minute shenanigans~ :p "so, if this is version 1.0, where are the upgrades?" you ask? ah, well, the prop gods apparently were displeased and would not stand for my craft foam abomination. so lionel, in all his glory, created 2.0 and it is AMAZING!!! check it out!!! http://www.acparadise.com/ace/display.php?c=27129 oh yeah, in case you couldn't tell, the dear DW is our beautiful loli for the evening~♥
