Can someone help me??o-O

Ok so i am working on an original design of a Dark Mage..It is purple satin and black velvet
1. i need a witchs hat pattern
2. I need to figure out a good nifty design for a staff or speacial weapon of sort, any suggestions
3. HAIR i REALLY wanna do some nifty hair but right now the only wigs i have is 1 long black one with long bangs, and 1 purple one that is quite long with a bit of a mullet cut (bought for yaone but never arived in time)
So if anyone would like to help..I will take ALL suggestions into consideration

Ooh, well, I can't be much of a help about the second two posts, but for the first one, I've used this pattern before:

... and it was really easy (although, I did use it because it was the only one I had on hand at the time, there are probably a lot more out there

i actually started to work on the waist sintcher today..(more like an obi LOL) i will be doing beed word all over it... looking like vines that attac h to a iron on that i found(at walmart) that is a black flower... the color scheem is Purple satin and Black velvet. I will be adding pics soon so maybe some people can tell me what they think and see what should be changed/added
