I plan to cosplay for the first time this year at the San Diego Comic-Con. I'm planning to cosplay as my favorite comic hero Spider-Man but with a twist. I plant to cosplay as spiderman when he had six arms.
Getting a Spider-Man costume is simple enough but now how can I construct four fake arms especially with a very tight budget I have.

Re: How to: Four Fake Arms?
Ok, this is going to be an odd answer, but its a good place to start. Make two large casts of a gnarly muscled friend's arms (one for left and one for right). Use w/e is cheapest (do some research). Make a wire armature vaguely skeleton like out of a hard wire like coat hanger, fingers and all. Bend them to match the gesture of the guys arm. Then you can put that in the cast, and fill it up with expanding foam. Its fantastic for making light weight fleshy props! When all is said and done you can "airbrush" aka artfully spray paint the skin and shadows in. If you immerse chicken wire in the top of the shoulder you can use that to anchor the arms to your body under the suit.
