Looking to meet friends to make things with

So I'm still new to cosplaying as I started out about a year ago. I started up a facebook page but I really want to meet other cosplayers that I can talk to about construction and the wonderful yet crazy process of making outfits. I'm still building my portfolio but here are some of the things I've made:
