Need help making Shinobi's armor

Yea i need help or any tips on making the metal thigh guards ( metal, or any other material that will look good) on Hotsuma's (from Shinobi) thighs and his armor, helmet, and the shuriken holders on his arms. heres a link where you can see all the armor and stuff.

the following link has a pic for the front of the helmet, the thigh guards, the front of the body armor, and the armor on his arms
