i saw that two people did a Dominique Cross cosplay, and i was wondering, what i should use for the fabric for her yellow coat? i'm probably going to actually use it, for cosplay and regular wear. so i'd like it to be functional. here is a picture.

Depending on how experienced you are at sewing. I would use vynil.
But it've very hard to sew with and is hard on your machine.

It's cute (not laughing since I'm not much of a gamer, *giggle*).
I'd probably use a fleece (yes I'm nuts) but it looks like a winter/cool fall/early spring thing. And if you HAD to make it look the same then use a raincoat like textile but I'd use a fleece. Polar maybe, keep you warm and soft!
However, I'm sure if you went to your fabric store and asked someone could help, or you could just look around and deside after seeing what they have. You could end up having your heart set on something and they not having it. *nods* It happens, sadly.
I hope you do well!

Ha, if you had money to blow, you could do what Julie did from Limebarb. She ended up using pleather with vinyl pockets and black quilting for lining.
A mouth full of popcorn will only get you so far in life~
