Need tips on making Haku's hair clip

I was wondering if anyone knew how to make a Haku (from naruto) hair clip. I was planning on using chopstick thingies for my hair if i couldn't find it. And i would also need help on finding the needle like weapon he uses if you have any idea where i can get those.

Well, i've cosplayed Haku. And yes i admit to using chopsticks for the expo. BUt fear not, i've found a solution......pipecleaners.

They come in all sorts of colors (like blue for instance) and they're bendable. For the yellow beads, all i did was string some through the pipe cleaner...and viola!

as for the weapons, they are called "senbon" (acupunture needles)....i don't apparantly think they're on sale ^_^. (besides, if you're going to a con, i doubt they'd let you bring those in)
just spray some chopsticks grey/silover and you'll be okay ^_^
