I've been cosplaying for a few years and enjoy it so very much...and I've learned a lot from trial and error. I've finally felt really comfortable with my costumes too.
My penchant for anime stemmed from growing up in Japan, but I'm into American comic books (Batman ftw!) as well as Naruto. It's funny because I ended up getting really into Naruto (the manga/anime) because of the cosplay, not the other way around. Now I'm a big fan even though I never thought I would be. XD It's hard to find time to make costumes because of college, but I will do it! *triumphant fist*
