But regardless I wouldn't say I'm an elite cosplayer, but I think I do ok for what I do ^^; I guess I'm kinda a beginner, I'm actually not quite sure! I have been doing some form of cosplay since 2006 though I like simple cosplays (cooking mama, Chihiro) with the occasional more complex (Motoko) My sewing skills aren't the greatest so I normally just by clothing and then make adjustments so that it look even more like the character's outfit. I also raid Army Surplus stores as well as my closet, its amazing what possibilities you can find with cosplay when you just look around in your closet or an older relatives closet, (the retro stuff is always the best! ^_^) I do hope I'm not looked down upon because I do love "closet" type of cosplays. Although, I always think it really has to look almost exactly like the character to work, so I hope I get some leeway with that explanation! ^^; Anyway, I hope everyone will like my cosplays as much as I enjoy creating them and displaying them! ^_^
