I'm new to this, and want to make it great. Plz help me out!

Hi to everyone that reads this and thanks for at least taking the time to click the link.

I'm going to be attending Anime North this year with a bunch of my friends. I've gone to this convention once before but, I did not cosplay, only my friend did (Chouji).

I've always loved the idea of cosplaying and I let my inability to figure out a character to get in my way of doing it. My problem is this... I want to cosplay, but I do NOT want to go as those people that look NOTHING like a character, but go as them anyways because they are a cool character in their mind.

I wanna look at least like, Iono... say, 60%+ like the person I go as. I am going to go as a Pokemon Trainer (Original Character) for one of the three days, but I wanna do a new costume each day.

Anyways, some pictures of me. Ohh, and I'd kinda like to be able to act a little like the character so if you could post a place I could go to obtain that information I'd love you for ever. >.<

Sorry, I realized just now that I have like no good, nor recent pictures of myself. The first one is most recent, but it's like 2 months old? I'll get a friend to take some pictures at school today and I'll change the pictures.

Have you heard of Kingdom Hearts 2? Marluxia from that game looks like just like you in the bodyguard picture one...

I like it, and the scythe has me pretty much sold, now I just gotta find a place near me that I can get the stuff for the costume, and then get 1 more character to go as. Thanks A LOT for your help. ^^

Well if you live near a major city there is usually the fabric District. Good stuff and all the whistles.

Man you guys are so good at taking one look at people and going "Oh hey, you look like so-and-so" ._. I need to watch more animes I spose..
