My brother went to Anime Weekend Atlanta 2007 and I'm so jealous! He made a really cool costume, Demon Gaara from Naruto (made the sand mask, arm, and gourd himself). I really want to go to some events like this, they just look so fun! Only problem is I haven't gotten into many series, and most of my favorite characters are pretty common. I think I would make a fair Rukia from Bleach, but I'd rather go as something more unique and elaborate, like my brother chooses. Any ideas?

*I'm not opposed to crossplay
*I'm not opposed to spending weeks on a costume (i.e. it doesn't have to be something easy, I want to have alot of fun making it all myself)
*I'm 5'9", dark reddish brown hair (shoulder length) 125ish lbs. Very fair skinned.
*Would go as a Game/Manga/Anime character, I have no preference.
*I was thinking maybe, just maybe, Lust, from Full Metal Alchemist. What do you think?!

I can definitely see both Kurenai Yuhi and Athena Asamiya. I looked up Athena Asamiya and her role in those games, and she is sooooooo cute! Any character that constantly changes outfits and attacks with autographed photos of themselves is super cute. Very good suggestions so far! Thanks!

There was another motivation for wanting to see an Athena cosplay.
With me being Kyo Kusanagi...>.<
Athena always had this unhealthy crush on Kyo. ^.^

Lisa/ Leeza is a character from Idea Factory's Blazing Souls(PS2)/ Absolute Blazing Infinity(x360). She is basically the same Lisa/ Leeza from Spectral Souls 2.

Its hard to say but Lust is definitely a nice choice.
