Who the heck should I cosplay?

I am actually recently going to be getting back into costuming with my girlfriend, I am formerly a costume designer. We are going to be cosplaying from land of the lustrous but I was wondering what other cosplays people might recommend. I used to dye my hair a lot but ever since growing it out I have stopped but I know wigs really well so making it shorter isn't an issue. Just wanted people's opinions/ideas because I have not done this for a pretty long while.
