First of all, not everyone owns the game so don't assume we all have it in front of us, ready for us to look at.

But on the chance of luck, I own it and know exactly what you're talking about. The Swallows are very long and if made from wood are potentially very heavy. If you use foam, fiberglass sheets, and a dowel rod (going by memory for this), you can work off that and build up on it.
