Help with Beserker Rikku's Horn and shoulder Armor

Please help me , I need it, I have not even cosplayed for a year and I have already started this project, so yes I am nuts.
here are a few pics of the two pieces.

for the horn, I'd shape it out of a big block of foam or styrofoam so it wouldn't be heavy and I'd either paint it the color its supposed to be or I'd cover it in fabric or felt . For the shoulder armor...well, I really dont know what you could use for that. Lets hope someone does!
