new and need help to make dark phoenix lycra/spandex costume

I'm new here and i've been thinking of making a dark phoenix costume for halloween. I have no idea where to start in regards to finding te material for this costume in spandex/lycra and also its contruction.

well u could prob find a body suit on ebay and paint the phoenix sign atleast for that part
