I'm not /too/ bad at sewing, just a little inexperienced, and think I could handle making Selphie's trademark dress (http://tokyotoys.com/images/medium/AF_F ... PHIE_M.jpg). I was just wondering if anyone here had made it before and could point me to a decent pattern- also how should I go about adding the zip? I was thinking of using a heavy yellow cotton or dyed calico if that helps at all.

i don't think you have to ignore the lines^^ you can paint it on! with a normal fabric marker (don't know the word in English^^° sry)
hmmm, maybe you could make the pattern by yourself Oo I haven't made Selphie's dress yet. And actually I wouldn't make one cuz i don't like Selphie.
Besides that, just think a lil bit about how you could make the dress. Look for more reference pics, talk directly to Sophie Cosplayer. Maybe they could give you good Tips and maybe, if you ask friendly, a pattern. :]
