Alright, so I am almost finished this dress, but since I this is only my second year cosplaying and have never delt with the wings before I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how to attach them, to keep them upright and if I should either make them plush like (Made of material and stuffed) or actually make them out of feathers. I wouldn't be making them that size, I was thinking of doing a much smaller version of them much like many of the other wings she has on some of her other costumes.

If you wanted to do it with feather it is a rather tricky skill to master. Feaths also can cost you a nice chunk of money for the good stuff but are very worth it. ALso you really need to be careful to layer your feathers properly, so you dont end up with square ones that we so all too often.

You can get some wonderful ones off of ebay if you are willing to pay a bit more.
