I need help on making the organization XIII coat from KH2, what are the materials?

Oh man I had sooo much fun making the orgi cloak! XD

I recamend getting really any black material you want to use. Generally people like to use leather or pleather if you want the more realistic orgi cloak. I personally used a material that was a mix of cotton and plyester just because it was still think but wasn't really heavy to wear in the summer.

You will probably want to get a clock pattern as your base, check in some Simplicity books in the costume sections and you'll easily be able to find a clock pattern. You might have to take the clock in a bit to make it fit nicer but that's pretty simple to do.

As for the decorations on the cloak, I bought the largest zipper I could find, it didn't quite reach the floor but I bought another zipper and added it in on the bottom as a type of faux zipper to make it look full length. The beads around the neck, for the parts that hang far down, I braided a few pieces of string together and then added the beads onto the end. As for attaching it to the clock, I put an eyelet on the clock around the neck and then tied the string through it. I didn't bother making the stings go all out through the hood cause that would just be a waste. For the hanging down beads that make the kind 'U' shape, I cute some chain wires and attached them to some clips that could stick onto the clock. For the beads I strung through a thinner wire through the beds and then shaped them at the end into a small circle I could put around the chain.

Hmm... trying to explain what I did is harder then i thought... ^^;;;

When I get home from school tonight I'll come back on and post some pictures to give you a better idea of what you can do! ^_^

My first attempt at an Org XIII coat was made of a thin cotton.. The pattern I used was originally Neo's coat from the Matrix. I had to modify it to have a hood and then attached it to the coat. For the pull string chains I bought some chain from Hancock Fabrics and attached these heart shaped zipper pull charms to the bottom.. and The "necklace" was just an actuall necklace.

I wouldn't advise you use this method.. well unless you're doing Xemnas Final Form coat.. It's be a lot easier to use this method with that coat.. That's how I'm making my Final Form coat.

Right now, I'm re-making my coat from a PVC-y fake leather type material. A friend of mine has a coat pattern that is almost perfect for it.

I'm also looking for a Organization XIII cloak pattern do you know where to find one or are you just modifying another pattern
