dyeing socks?

i need my socks to be pink but they're white.
is it ok to dye them pink? and what shoud i use as the dye?

You realise, of course, that the only thing you need to do is to get a bunch of new red clothing, some non-colour-protecting soap, and toss in your socks. Insta-pink!
It should be ok to dye your socks pink. Realistically, you should look for a non-fading clothing dye at your local fabric store.

Actually, if you delute red dye (I like FITT) in a bucket of boiling water, they turn pink. I think they also sell Pink dye.
If that doesn't turn out, use Hot pin hair dye, That stuff stains anything.

michaels arts and crafts sells pink fabric dye (i work there...) and any other craft store probably does too
