Belldandy's Jewlery

Post by Fiare-chan » Thu Sep 01, 2005 5:51 pm

Hey. I'm making a Belldadny costume and am kind of lost at her jewlery. Not so much the bracelets, but her earrings, necklace, and that weird little belt of 4 hoops that she has (this is her original goddess costume, btw). Anyone know how to make these things??

There are many different ways to make these.
First, I'd try going to Clairs or Icing, they have jewlery similar.
If you can't buy anything you'll obviously have to make it.
For the necklace they have round metalish neckalces at places like Micheals Arts and Crafts. They clasp in the back and you can put beads or such on there. That would hold the dangling parts. For those, you'll need jump ring like structures to hold that dangle to the choker. The dangles can be made of that fun foam for something light, or clay if you were very precise. (I'd choose clay.)
As for the earrings, Micheals also has earring hoops that you can put the dangles on the same way as the necklace. Just make sure the dangles are in proportion with the earring vs. necklace.
The belt, I'll get back to you on if I can. I need to get a picture and confirm my reasoning.
I hope what I gave you helps, or is at least an option for you to fall back on if something better doesn't work out!
