Ideas for "Godawful Crossover Fanfic" costume?

One costume I plan to do at least once is a Godawful Crossover Fanfic.
So far I've got the following ideas:
*Fruits basket - my Kyo cosplay hat (and maybe a homemade tail); my Kyo black and white bead bracelet
*FMA - "State Alchemist" button pin; arm wrapped in tinfoil or aluminum foil and labeled "badly-described automail" in Sharpie marker.
*Pokemon - assuming I didn't do the cat tail, a cardboard Pokemon tail, probably Pikachu's since it's so recognizable. Or maybe some of those paint-it-yourself ornament balls painted up like Pokeballs and hooked to my belt or something (in which case I could use a reference, but I'll probably find one through Google Image Search anyway).
*Evangelion - NERV shirt, and possibly Misato's jacket if I win a certain eBay auction *crosses fingers*
*Sailor Moon - Sailor Pluto's staff from an old Halloween costume of mine.
*Harry Potter - stuffed owl that looks like Hedwig pinned to shoulder.
Any other cute ideas for this costume? I wanted to include Buffy somehow, since many crossovers include it, but I couldn't think of anything that'd work as an accessory or single piece of clothing, since the characters wear clothes that are perfectly normal most of the time, and the weapons are things like swords and crossbows which aren't specifically Buffyverse things. Or Lord of the Rings, but other than pointy ears, there's not much I could think to include...
I want to back as many series, preferably as many incompatible series, as possible into this costume.
