Just a quick question

I'm looking to possibly cosplay doomfist however I'm white and not as built as him...
Read online this could be deemed inappropriate however other posts also said its fine granted it's not offensive and shows respect etc
But I was wondering if I was to go as a white doomfist would putting on his accent be considered racist by the public .. ? I believe in being the character you are cosplaying so thought I'd come and ask what others thought before I waste time and money
