BioShock 2 - Adam Syringe Help?

I'm working on my Little Sister cosplay for AKon 22. I've searched the internet for a good tutorial on how to make the Adam Syringe, but I'm wondering is there another way to make the main portion with the use of welding actual pipes or using Mold Magic?

I would very much like to avoid metal work as I'm not all that great with the blowtorch. XD
