1. i am working on a Gothic Lolita in which i need to work with crenilin (sorry for the spelling on that one) ~ i have never before worked with said fabric and need to cut it (from floor length to cut above knee) from a pre-existing "under skirt poof": any tips as to how to start with this doom?

2. know a pattern for a straight jacket?

well with the petticoat just cut it. it will not fray so don't worry if you want you can hem it or put a trim on it but you don't really have to.

for the striaght jacket all you have to do is alter a pattern to have longer sleeves, add some bukels/clips and make it to were it zips up the back or front.
