Hello,
I am new here...so pardon my noobishness.....
I want to make a Jem (the original doll costume) costume, and I don't know where to start. I am searching for old 80's patterns that resemble the dress....but it can be a long fruitless search.
I am not a small girl (nor am I large...) I tend to fit into a size 14-16 dress.
I would like to sew it myself and just need a jump start. Where to look?? Does someone already have a pattern that they would be willing to sell me??
Any help would be very much appreciated....
Thank you
Jem - A place to start...

Can we get some references?
Frankly speaking, I have no idea what a Jem is and the fact that you said it's the original doll costume, do you mean...Jem like the tv series, Jem?
At that point, I'll need to see some references to know what we're dealing with here. Her outfits change so much and unless someone here knows Jem throughout her series and followed her merchandise line, we'll be shooting in the dark.
