okay, to those who have cosplay as haruhi or are just plain great at making costumes... please help! I'm planning on making a haruhi cosplay with me friend and i'm wondering what type of fabric would be the best to use for the blue collar and the top plus the skirt...

Cotton would probably be good. It is sturdy and a believable fabric for a school uniform. If you get a cotton-polyester blend, it won't wrinkle as badly. I'm sure a velvet ribbon would be fine, but I would think it wouldn't be too hard to find a plain yellow ribbon. Or like, the ribbed kind. (I don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about) I think the colour is the main thing.
