naruto costume help

Hey everyone, Im gonna try and make a naruto timeskip costume but i dont know what material to use. It would also be really helpfull if there are any paterns out there for this costume.

I was wandering around youtube this morning and found a Naruto (not time skip) tutorial video. The person modified a regular every day orange jacket, and you could do the same. If you watch how they modified the jacket you can use that same approach to make your Naruto jacket, as for the sandals there is a tutorial on it on the cosplay wiki.
