Does anyone know how to make a head dress? I'm completly clueless. Any help, please?

It kind of seems easy how to make one... like get a rectangle of fabric or something, add whatever lace, beads, trims, whatever you want to it, add some ties and there you go? I've never made one but it seems quite simple.
