Please Help: Kitty Ears & Fin

I need Kitty ears for a LARP i'm going to in 11 days, and I need them to cover my actual ears. A like so:

One person tried to help, but she was really unclear in some parts... And how would you go about making a tail, I have an idea but want to be sure.

Also, would anybody know how to go about making a fin? ...And attatching it to one's head..? Like an amphibian would?

I think what many people do is use a phone ear clip (a sort of C-shaped, plastic gadget) for the base of the ear, and they glue their felt, fur, or craft foam to the clip so then they can just slip them onto their ears.

For the head fin, I've seen kids' swim sets that have either a mask or cap with a shark fin or a creature from the black lagoon fin. Maybe it could work as a base for your fin? Otherwise, I would use craft foam to get the shape and attach it to my hair or wig with hair clips. An elastic band like a party hat might also work.
