American Cosplay Paradise (http://www.acparadise.com), after nearly 2 months of no activity, has finally reopened! Sporting a new look and many new features, ACP is ready to uphold its reputation as one of the premiere cosplay resources on the Web.
Some of the new features include:
- Improved search engine: Better search results, and the option to search for variations of existing characters!
- User registration system: Members can now be given a username and password, and use it to update information on their costumes instantly, rather than wait for the owners to handle them.
- Cosplayer Favorites: Members can now keep a list of their Favorite
cosplayers, and see their latest costumes in a personalized page!
- Cosplayer Profiles: Heavenly and Celestial members can now track how many people are viewing their pages and costumes. Registered users can now leave comments on individual costumes of Celestial members. In addition, Celestial members can now have more pictures per costume, and can submit masquerade and original outfits.
- Forums: ACP Forums are back, and more tightly integrated with the rest of the site.
- Featured Series: Every month, ACP will showcase an anime, manga, or
videogame series with good cosplay potential. Expect synopsis, comments, and more importantly, reference pictures for anybody who's looking for ideas for their next costume!
