We papermached over the top to give it strength and we had to glue on some paint sticks as supports bc its so ...

my friend made kairi and she just bought off brand converse at walmart and then just painted them to be the right color with acrylic paint. The paint works very well on the canvas part for the purple , but it peels off on the rubber to make the sole black so I would just color that part with a black...

the way I made mine was by getting a similar pair of shoes at good will and then cutting a triangle out of the front. I hemed up the edges and inserted the triangle a little lower than it was before to make the tounge and then just paint the shoes. it turns out pretty well actually http://sizzing.de...

It tend to work better making boot covers your self because they have to fit the boot's shape. Also here is a good tutorial for making boot covers ...

Prop and Hat Commissions
I am now open for prop comissions. I make my props mainly out of various combinations of foamboard, craft foam, model magic, or papermache. I find these materials to be great for props because they are lightweight, which is very nice when you are hauling around a prop at a convention all day. I will...

I would also suggest foamboard. I use it for most of my props. It is kinda weak when you only have one layer but most decent sized swords are at least maybe 3 layers thick. Still even one layer can last if treaten with care. I know the lightning sword I made for rosabella has some areas that are onl...

Then it sands easy so once you get it smooth put on a coat or 2 of primer. Finally I would get some paint that sha a shine to it in the color you like if not t...
