As for AL cons. We have two Persa and Crisis. We used to have East Meets South but as far as my sources go they say that there will be no EMS this year. ;-; sad.

Thrift stores are your friend. They usually have very unique coloured blazors there. We found one of our friend's coats there. ^_^

Agreed with the people above. Find a pattern for a coat and do what you need to so that you can alter it. But most suit tops like that look alike anyway.

I've had both good and bad luck with Halloween store wigs.. It really depends on if you plan on doing any major styling to it.. Say spikes. Some wigs are better than others. But most of the wigs you'll find there will be low quality and quite thin. So the best you could do it a straight look or some...

I made my scythe out of wood. The first one I made was in 2D because I was in a rush, the con was in like a day xD;
But the second attempt was made of wood, pvc and craft foam.

It depends on your machine really..
I used this fake pleather-ish PVC material for mine.
I've also made one out of nothing but cotton (which I ended up giving to a friend of mine.)
