Sumomo is a cute character and her outfit is super cute too. ^_^ The hair would be a minor problem though... Well I thought about it, and like I hate wigs because they look so plastic and shiney, I think Iwould die my hair pink 0: Wigs look plastic and shiny? If the wig is made from high quality fi...

Why not make your own, his outfit is probably one of the easiest (since it doesn't have to fit perfectly)? I would estimate the material cost (including fabric, notions, and etc.) to be around $20-30 USD. The coat is essentially 3 (or 4 pieces if you would like a seam line in the back) and the sleev...

First of all, welcome! I'm kind of confused, by "If anyone can offer to make me a costume or make me wear a old one i dont mind!" , do you mean you are looking for someone to commission something for you? If so, there are many talented commissioners on site, so I guess check out the marketplace? Any...

Well, it depends...what are you making the jacket out of? I don't think vinyl/leather/pleather takes fabric paint too well (and it's very difficult to paint a lighter fabric paint on a darker fabric --> need a lot of layers)~ You could try fabric paint and that's definitely the most straight forward...

I would recommend...I'm not sure what it's really called, but it's labeled "dance wear" at my fabric store. It has a bit of shine to it and is stretchy enough for this project. I think it's like $4-6/yard. If you are looking for something less expensive, I personally think broadcloth would work too,...

Sorry if my last comment was really confusing, I meant like those chains you can buy by the feet/yard (I forgot which) at hardware/jewelry/craft stores. They are normally used as necklaces? My friend bought several feet, cut them into pieces and arranged them in the net style of Byakuya and attached...

First of all, do you plan to use your natural hair or a wig? A friend of mine cosplayed as Byakuya (from Bleach right?) and she made those triangular thingies from cardcoard and painted them white. She slid those in place and secured them with clips. She used a wig, so she put on a bit of hairspray ...

Well, I used a combination of newspaper and aluminum foil, I guess whatever works ^_^ Before I braided on the red trims, I inserted a hair elastic and braided it around it. When I wore it to the convention, I safety pined it to the pink hoodie and since my hair is a bit long than usual, it didn't sh...

Well, I made a Yuna hairtail before, even though it was for my Gunner costume, it's still the same basic idea. I rolled up some newspaper and tape them into the basic shape. Then I wrap/braided 4 pieces of red trim around that. I bought a pack of hair extensions and sewed/glued then to the bottom. T...

I would make the star first by drawing out the shape you want from cardboard and paper-mache it. Try foam tubes and bend it to the circle shape and cover it with another layer of paper mache *I suggest you use hot glue to attach the two together* As for the wings, try foam sheets and cut out the sha...

Well, sewing machines can range from a hundred to several thousand dollars. Actually, it only takes about an hour to understand and master the workings of a sewing...

Well, if you can't find a pattern, you can always make one yourself. Just break the costume down to pieces., like the sleeves and the hakama are like triangular pieces of fabric and it is pretty easy to work out the rest. Though, I am pretty sure there are tutorials online, if I find any, I will let...

Contact lenses are fairly expensive, so if your buget is $50, then I suggest not getting them. For the clothes, you can alter an existing shirt, but I think it would be better to start from scratch. I think you might want to use boning so that the top wouldn't fall and the the flaps would stay up. And you might want to try having a petticoat underneath the skirt to give it volume. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommand fabric that is too shiny, but a little shine can give it a very cute look. It's all...

Well, you don't need to have alot of sewing experience to make Yuna's outfit... The obi is fairly simple too, the bow to attach to the belt whic...
