well, i'm making my first ever costume for a con in Honolulu and i'm planning to go as San from Mononoke Hime. its pretty good for a beginner, the clothing is relatively simple, and you can keep it at the basics and work on extras later on when you get more experience, like the mask and weapons. htt...

hey everyone, i want to make Paines Gambler/Lady Luck costume but i'm not sure what kind of fabric to use...it looks pretty slinky.
i've heard one person used swimsuit fabric, but i don't think i can find it here in Hawai'i, does anyone have any suggestions??

awesome, i'll try it. does the paint get sticky though? i've used fabric paints before and i remember it was a pain because it stuck to everything, what type of paint did you use?
