Even if you still wanted to make them yourself these pictures may help. I know at art stores you can find usually ornaments that are the right size and shape, and you can paint them the right color of course. I like the idea of Velcro to attach them to your hair.

I made this costume and I never used a pattern, I just made a bunch of rectangle's for the whole thing. The shirt: I made mine with sleeves that wernt attached. I just took my bust and added 15" to it. Put a casing at the top and put an elastic on it. I did the same for the sleeves but only added 7"...
