These shots were taken at a cosplay gathering at the San Jose Convention center on February 22, 2014. The gathering was to be a dry run for night shoots for FanimeCon 2014 later in the year, while there was still enough nighttime before Daylight Savings kicks in. For me, it was an exercise in getting a handle on night shoots using flash, and the 50+% cull rate indicates that I still much to learn and refine when it comes to that. However, the shots that did turn out were decent enough, so that\'s encouraging at least.
