About this Costume
Construction Details:
the body suit is made from regular navy blue spandex purchased from joann's. i used the body suit pattern with the seams up the middle front and middle back. there's a regular zipper in the front. the gloves are made of miliskin matte in magenta. i do the turkey glove method and just traced my hand as a pattern because i used stretch material. the shoe covers are made of navy blue four way stretch vinyl. i bought a plain pump from the thrift store as the base. for the pattern i just put the shoe on and traced my leg. i glued stiff felt to the bottom of the shoe so it didn't get messed up when i wore it. the top edge of the boot covers are finished with a 'waistband.'

the belt and leg holsters were purchased for another costume from an army surplus store. i painted them purple with acrylic paint. the torso harness is made with elastic and left over nylon webbing. it slips over my head and buckles in place in the front. the fake pouches on the back of the harness are made with craft foam and left over purple pleather from another costume.

the gauntlets, shoulder pads and head piece are all made with eva foam and craft foam. the lighter purple parts have pleather glued to them and the rest are painted with acrylic paint. the pieces were heat formed before painting or gluing.
Personal Thoughts:
love domino but all the classic costumes are ratchet
