Construction Details:

A lot of work went into this costume to make functional garment pieces! The hat and goggles were modified to match the design, and the gloves, boots, and shirt were purchased. The coat is made of a heavy wool suiting, completely lined with pockets. Pants are a lightweight denim. Vest is a bottom weight that has been fully lined. The Mera Mera no Mi was commissioned from a friend. Pipe is PVC primed and painted with a dark blue chord to swing it over my shoulder and hold it in place. There's a lot I want to change with this costume before I wear it again, but over all I am super happy with it! Playing with makeup is one of my favorite things about cosplay, so going all out with makeup and liquid latex to create the burn scar was one of my favorite aspects.
