About this Costume
- Construction Details:

So, starting from the top down:
Headdress: Made from Wonderflex, painted with gold Rub n' Buff. Flowers were taken apart then sewed into cascades using invisible thread, plus the blue lily was was airbrushed from white. I go into a bit more detail on my blog post here: http://heartandsoulcosplay.blogspot.com/2013/09/quick-update-morgianas-headdress.html
Necklace: Wonderflex with Rub'n' Buff. Sculpey gemstone painted with the help of my husband.
Top: Strapless bra with linen sewed over. The filigree brooch in the middle was a thrift-store score. The flowy side pieces are sewed into the bra, then tuck into my skirt piece.
Skirt: Linen, about 3 layers to achieve the appearance. The gold trim around the bottom has ovals in it that I hand embroidered for the inside and outside views.
Anklets/bracelet: Solid metal shaped by my brother-in-law and cosplay partner, who cosplayed Masrur with me. - Personal Thoughts:
- I undertook this project as a desire to try something a little outside my comfort zone, to be perfectly honest. It was a little more daring of a cosplay than I usually go for, but I love Morgiana so much as a character, and the festival night was a pretty big turning point for her, which is why I decided to just go for it!
