Construction Details:

The only part of this cosplay that deserves an actual construction mention is the jacket. The jacket is patterned and constructed by myself, and made out of a "cowboy costume" fabric from Joann's. I really wanted to give it a leather feel because I think that's what, realistically, these jackets would be made of. It was incredibly difficult to sew, and a LOT of petroleum jelly was used to get the fabric through my machine so I could top stitch it.

That having been copied over from my main Mikasa Ackerman entry here, the rest of this costume was awesome. My fantastic friends Evan and Z made everyone in our group "3DMG" presents, bought us candy cane swords, and made up Scouting Legion cloaks out of tree skirts. We all had a good round of fun duct taping the ribbon 3DMG harnesses to ourselves and overall Attack on Christmas was an awesome success.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a fun little costume to do for the Holiday Matsuri Holiday themed contest, my friends and I really enjoyed taping ribbon to ourselves with duct tape!
