Construction Details:

My regular Kurloz cosplay is under this costume, so the construction details for that are the same as his main entry. I got a base turtleneck, then made custom gloves from a jersey knit fabric and sewed them into the sleeves. After that I took in the sides of the turtleneck as well as the sleeves to fit me better. I then hand painted the entire front top of the costume. The purple pants are leggings that I took in and hemmed. I have a new wig now, as this one kept falling out because the fibers didn't take well to teasing. The horns are model magic around a foil base, sealed with resin and secured to the wig with wire underneath the wefts.

The jacket itself was tailored to fit, and the appliqué was added by myself so go with his overall skeleton theme. The design on his shirt actually ended up looking very much like a tie! And the mask was hand made and painted by the lovely Tradanui, who also made my Meulin's mask.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a jacket that I made for the masquerade ball at AUSA 2012! The jacket is really the only variation from regular Kurloz in this costume, aside from of course the mask, made by the wonderful Trada (tradanui.tumblr.com) for the occasion!
