Okay so.
God I actually have no idea where to begin with this. The hardest part was definitely the tutu, for which both Jacqui and I followed the tutu tutorial (say that 5 times fast) on cosplayisland. I have five layers of tutu netting and one layer of silver sparkle tulle comprising my tutu, and I used about 5 yards of 72-inch width netting, and a yard and a half of the sparkle tulle. The plate is white bridal satin, with about 50 goose pointers hand-sewn along the edges. They're gorgeously soft, but get ruffled very easily. Likely for the next rendition, I'll sew them on again completely anew (also because I want to add more).
The bodice is actually just a leotard (I cheated), with a marabou feather boa doubled back along the neckline and a gem sewn to the center. The designs are hand-painted, and the edges are hand-beaded. There are about 3000 seed beads on the leotard and boy was that fun.
Shoes are demi-pointe shoes (oops).
Wig piece is a feather down boa, doubled over with more goose pointers hand-sewn inside of it, with a marabou boa doubled over and sewn on top to hide the bias tape border. This costume was a lot of handsewing, but not all that difficult.
Crown is a variety of beads and crystals, and oh my god, both Jacqui and I have three pairs of lashes on for maximum Tutu lashes-ness. - Personal Thoughts:
- I'M THE SWAN QUEEN, BITCHES

- Styling Notes
- Chopped off the ends, twisted up an ahoge, and painted the tip with acrylic paint. All in all a pretty easy job, even if I do want to re-do the ahoge. The color is perfect; I highly recommend it.
