Construction Details:

This was the first costume I really worked my ass on. It was my first "real" cosplay [my first one doesn't count and I don't have pictures SO HA]. I am guilty of using shiny fabric but I don't think it was as bad as it could've been. The skirt, arm rolls, collar, and back bow were all the same red fabric. The purple bow was the same fabric but obviously a different color. The rolls were made just by sewing tubes and then stuffing them with cotton balls at the time XD. The "armor" of the leotard was actually just a sports bra I bought and wore over the leotard. The gem was purchased by my friend on etsy and the tiara gems were just stick on rhinetones. The Tiara's themselves were made from craft foam and had elastic so we could put them on under our wigs. The ofuda were cut out from papyrus paper I had [don't ask me why I had that] and I just used calligraphy ink to write the kanji down.
