Construction Details:

I love looking through my fabric bins & seeing that I can almost make a complete costume out of what I have! The only things I had to buy for this were the purple/pink organza for the skirt & the tan fabric for the obi. Sewn using a basic kimono pattern & then altered. Made out of knit (god I love working with knit) & casa satin. The roses on the obi were originally painted on, but when I wasn't satisfied with how the final product looked I remade it & used Heat & Bond & pink cotton instead. I didn't have the time to find platform shoes for her or to add the mic to the rose hairclip (blahblahdetailsonlyIprobablycareabout) which is my next project for when I wear her again.
