Construction Details:

When Anza and I watched the series, we really wanted to cosplay Panty and Stocking, but we wanted to do ours a little different. So, we embellished the crap out of them. Also, I don't exactly have the best figure for Panty, but I had so much fun in this costume, it didn't even really matter by the time I got to con.

Materials used: Shimmer satin, matte satin, and yards and yards of cheap mylar trim and expensive lace. Too much vinyl gold trim, thick-ass interfacing, feathers, bias tape and 2 different kinds of metallic gold lycra. The wings were rigged together at the last minute by being tucked into my bra and around my arms with wide white elastic. It worked. Kinda.

This is the first time I've used draping to make anything! I usually make patterns but I couldn't really do that to get the look I wanted. After 3 different attempts I finally got something I liked. Skirt is just a basic knife pleated skirt, shoes are held together with snaps, velcro, shoe glue, and anger, and the hearts are heart shaped ornaments Anza ordered off Hobby Lobby that we painted with metallic acrylics and then lacquered.

Anza is an awesome bro, she made my wings.

Personal Thoughts:

I love cosplaying Panty with Anza's Stocking! Our feet always hurt like death, but it's so much fun! Even when I'm derpin' out there on my own, this costume is a lot of fun to wear.
