Construction Details:

Red for my tunic and cape/capelet lining is cotton poplin, black for cape/capelet lining is a black polyester (which I got for $2/yard). I went through so much yellow bias tape I was losing my mind. The leggings were made with white cotton spandex. The skulls on the capelets and in my hair are made from sculpty. The toppers on the boots are removable, so that they can be used for other costumes.

Personal Thoughts:

My friend Doug introduced me to the world of Leji Matsumoto, Captain Harlock, and Queen Emeraldas. So when I decided to make Queen Emeraldas, I asked him if he would wear Harlock if I made it for him, and he was happy to do so.
