Sunday, Bloody Sundaaaaay~

I'm illegal in Poland! *Shot*
I adored Russia from the first time I saw him in the manga and the Bloody Sunday comic is one of my overall favorites in Hetalia so this costume was bound to happen eventually.
The coat was drafted on the fly! I didn't have any patterns handy when I made this so it was simply a matter of "Cut it until it looks right!" (is this the Russian way!?). I swear it used to be... presentable... As with my Rev War England, I thought I could do better and figured I'd remake it properly. What to do with the old one? Well...

The concept is Bloody Sunday "after the fact" so he's a little loopy in the head. At this point the coat's covered in almost a pint of fake blood (4 wearings with a little more added each time for a "fresh" look) and I've gone through 3 scarves (the fake blood doesn't dry quite as well on the fleece). On some occassions I'm joined by Cuddles the Massacre Victim bear! ...I think he's pretty self-explanatory.
My favorite part is the bit on the back. Since the coat and fake blood are so dark, it's hard to see normally, but if someone happens to get a flash picture of my back, "Wait... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" and I smile.

The downside to this... Yeah, illegal in Poland. Rock on!

Somehow, much like with "post" RevWar England, I like it better like this XD
