Construction Details:

It took a lot of time and effort, but it was all worth it! ^__^ Sword is made of fiber glass and a couple other materials. For the hilt I made a cast and used fiber glass resin and hanger wiring to strengthen. Sheild is made of cardboard, bondo, fib4erglass, paper clay, and lots of paint. Scabbard is for sale signs for a base, fiber glass, craft foam, paper clay and paint. The chainmail took 7 months to make. It was done my hand one ring at a time using needle nose wire pliers. Rings were 16 guage, 1/4" and were made of aluminum so they would be lighter. Overall the thing still weighs about 15 pounds. Belts are all leather. For the arm guard I learned to tool the leather for designs.
